Setting a reminder is one of the most critical steps to ensuring you stay consistent with your new habits. A well-timed notification can be the nudge you need to get things done.
To start setting Reminders for a habit, in the settings, tap on Reminders section.
Basic Time-Based Reminder
This is the most common type of reminder and the foundation of a good tracking system.
In the "Reminder" section, in "Time" category, tap on "+ Add"
Set the time you want to be notified.
You can add multiple reminders for a single habit by tapping "+ Add" again. This is great for important habits you don't want to miss!
Advanced: Setting Different Times for Different Days
Life isn't the same every day, and your reminders can reflect that. This feature is perfect for habits with a flexible schedule.
How it works: When setting a time-based reminder, enable the option Custom Schedule. You will see the days of the week listed. Simply tap on a day to set or customize the reminder time specifically for that day.
Example: For a "Wake Up" habit, you can set a 6:30 AM reminder for weekdays and a 9:00 AM reminder for the weekend, all within the same habit.
Reminders show as Alarms
To allow the Time Reminder works as an Alarm on your device, in the detailed configuration of the Time Reminder, switch to toggle to turn on "Show as Alarm".
While this may seem counter-intuitive, turning this specific setting off elevates the reminder from a simple notification to a full-fledged alarm alert, ensuring you never miss a cue for your most important habits.
Reminder on Live Activity
For iOS users, you can configure your time-based reminders to appear as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
This gives you a persistent notification with a quick Check-in button right there, making it easier than ever to log progress the moment you complete a task.
Beyond Time: Habit Stacking & Location Reminders (Premium)
Our Premium plan unlocks even more powerful reminder options to automate your routines.
Habit Stacking Reminders: Create powerful routines by getting a reminder for one habit shortly after you complete another.
Example: Set a reminder to "Journal for 5 minutes" that triggers 2 minutes after you complete your "Read a book" habit.

Location-Based Reminders: Get a nudge based on your physical location.
Example: Set a reminder for "Go to the gym" that triggers when you have 500 meters arriving at the gym, or a reminder for "Take out the trash" that triggers when you 200 meters leaving home.
