Automating your fitness tracking is the best way to ensure your habit logs are always accurate and up-to-date. By connecting Habitify to Strava, you can automatically track your workouts, rides, and runs without manually entering data.

This guide covers how to set up the connection and lists all the specific activity types supported by the integration.

How to Create a Strava-Synced Habit

  1. From the Journal view, tap the + button to add a new habit.

  2. Select Create Good Habit.

  3. At the top of the screen, tap the Strava tab.

  4. Select the Activity Type you want to track (e.g., "Run" or "Ride").

  5. Authorize the connection if you haven't already.

  6. Set your Goal and Unit.

    • Important: The unit you choose (Distance, Duration, or Calories) must match the data Strava captures for that activity.

  • Duration: (minutes, hours) – Available for almost all activity types.

  • Calories: (kcal) – Available if your Strava activity includes calorie data.

Important Notes

  • 90-Day History Limit: The Habitify - Strava integration only supports syncing data from the last 90 days. Any activities recorded on Strava prior to this window will not be imported into Habitify.

  • One-Way Sync: Data only syncs from Strava to Habitify. Logging a habit in Habitify will not create an activity in Strava.

  • No Manual Logging: Once a habit is linked to Strava, the manual check-in button is disabled. The habit will only complete when a matching activity is uploaded to Strava.
