Use Habitify with AI Apps & Tools

Written by Habitify
Updated today

Habitify is built using an Open AI Standard (technically known as MCP). This means you aren't limited to just Claude or ChatGPT—you can connect your habit journal to any compatible AI assistant, code editor, or productivity tool that supports this standard.

If you use other AI tools (like Cursor, Zed, or local AI agents) and want them to manage your habits, here is how to set it up.

The Connection Link

To connect Habitify to a new tool, you will typically be asked for a Server URL or Connection Link.

  • Connection URL: https://mcp.habitify.me/mcp

  • Connection Type: SSE (Server-Sent Events)

General Setup Instructions

Since every app looks a little different, the exact buttons might vary, but the process is usually the same:

  1. Find the "Connectors" Menu: Look for a section in your app's settings called "Connectors," "Servers," or "Extensions."

  2. Add a Custom Connection: Choose the option to add a new custom server.

  3. Enter the Details:

    • Name: Habitify

    • URL: Paste the link provided above (https://mcp.habitify.me/mcp).

  4. Log In: Once added, your tool will likely ask you to log in to your Habitify account to approve the access.

Need Help or Have Questions?

Because this is a flexible standard, the setup steps can depend heavily on which specific tool you are using.
