Use Habitify with Claude AI

Written by Habitify
Updated today

We have built a powerful integration that connects your Claude AI account directly to your Habitify journal.

Once connected, Claude acts as a bridge to your Habitify account. You can type natural commands like "I drank a glass of water" or "Mark my reading as done," and Claude will automatically update your Habitify app in real-time.

This connection allows you to track habits, log progress, and review your daily goals simply by having a conversation with Claude. It’s like having a personal assistant who manages your Habitify app for you.

How to set up the connector between Claude and Habitify

The Habitify integration works using a specific feature in Claude called "Custom Connectors." Currently, Custom Connectors is a premium feature of Claude, so to use this integration, you must have a paid subscription to Claude.

Note: While anyone on Pro and Max plans can build and host connectors using remote MCP, only Owners can add them to Team and Enterprise plans. Once a connector has been added to a Team or Enterprise organization, users individually connect to and enable that connector. This ensures that Claude can only access tools and data that the individual user has access to.

To set up the connector, take these steps:

  1. Open Claude and go to Profile (your initials) > Settings.

  2. Select Connectors from the sidebar menu.

  3. Click the Add custom connector button.

  4. In the window that appears, fill in these two fields:

    • Name: Habitify

    • URL: Copy and paste this exact link: https://mcp.habitify.me/mcp

  5. Click Add.

  6. You will see Habitify appear in your list. Click the Connect button next to it.

  7. Follow the prompts to log in and authorize Claude to access your Habitify account.

Once you see the success message, and the "Connect" button turns to "Connected", you are ready to start chatting with Claude about your habits in Habitify.
