Understanding the Syncing Logic
Habitify employs a specific logic for syncing sleep data from the Health app to provide a coherent and accurate representation of users' sleep. Here's how it works:
Time Frame Definition: Sleep data recorded from after 12 PM (noon) on day 1 until before 12 PM on day 2 is attributed to day 1.
Practical Example: If a user goes to bed on the night of January 23rd and wakes up on the morning of January 24th, all the sleep data collected during this period will be recorded under January 23rd.
This method ensures that the entire sleep session is associated with the day it began, offering a clearer picture of the user's nighttime rest on a specific date.
Detailed Sleep Data Integration
The Health app categorizes sleep into various stages, which Habitify seamlessly incorporates into its tracking system. These stages include:
Asleep: General sleep time without specifying stages.
REM (Rapid Eye Movement): The sleep stage associated with vivid dreaming and cognitive restoration.
Core: Light sleep, which forms the majority of the sleep cycle and is important for physical repair.
Deep: The most restorative sleep stage, crucial for physical recovery and overall health.
Whether you’re aiming for better sleep quality or simply trying to establish a healthier routine, Habitify provides the tools and insights needed to make informed adjustments and achieve your sleep goals.
