Check-in on a good habit

This is the general guide to check in and save your progress on a good habit.

In Habitify, the Journal tab is the main place of your daily tracking on all habits with any type of goal.

Use smart button

For each habit, there is a quick button to log the entry for the habit progress. There are 4 buttons:

  • "Done" for habit with goal = 1 time

  • "βœ“ 1" for habit with goal = x times ( x > 1)

  • "Timer" for habits with duration-based goal

  • "Log" for habits with other kinds of goal

Use "Log progress"

You may don't want to use button "Timer" or take several taps on the button "βœ“ 1" to enter your progress log. You can swipe the habit right and tap on "Log Progress".

Mark skip or fail

By swiping the habit left, you also have the option to mark your habit as "Failed" or "Skipped".

  • "Fail" when you plan to do your habit but you cannot

  • "Skip" when you don't schedule your habit, maybe you're sick or on holiday and temporarily put your habit on a pause.
