Improved image attachment interface + add images to risk assessments

You can now add images to tasks within your risk assessments to make them more visual, pictorial, and easier to understand. This feature improves the clarity and effectiveness of your risk assessment documentation.

With this update, we've also updated the general interface when uploading images anywhere in the RAMS. These updates will also apply to the sequence of operations and method statement images.

Adding images to risk assessments

You can add images to risk assessment now as well.

Who can use this feature?

Plans: All individual, Teams, and Enterprise RAMS customers have access to this feature.

Users: any user who can create/edit RAMS can add images to their risks.

Admins and content editors can add default images if you have a custom content library.

Key details

  • File size limit: 10MB per image

  • Supported formats: PNG, JPG, PDF

  • Image editing: Resize images and add captions

  • Images appear in the final PDF documents

Best practice

  • Use clear, high-quality images that illustrate the specific risks or safety measures

  • Add descriptive captions to provide context

  • Keep file sizes reasonable for faster loading and processing

Improved image interface: Customise images

  • Realistic sizes: you can now see an approximation of the final size of the image in the document when editing the RAMS, rather than a fixed grid

  • Rearrange: you can now drag and drop to rearrange the order of the images and get a realistic view of the final document look

  • Resize: Adjust image dimensions as needed between Small, Medium, Large

  • Add captions: Include descriptive text for each image

Where images appear

Images are displayed within the task interface where you uploaded them. They will appear in the final PDF document under the specific task where you uploaded them, maintaining the layout and captions you configured.
