User invitation emails
These are sent automatically to their email the moment the user is added to HandsHQ. You cannot log in to your organisation's HandsHQ account unless you have been sent an invite via email.
The invite expires after a few days, so do make sure to activate it straight away.
Note: please check your spam folder if haven't received an invite you're expecting.
Invite not received? Please check:
Spam / junk email inbox
Sometimes the invite ends up there - do check!
Did you add them in the 'Users' or 'Personnel' section?
To add a user with a login, go to Settings > Users. Users cannot be managed from the Personnel tab
Is the email address used for the invite correctly spelled?
Common issues include e.g. using .co.uk instead of .com
Admins can resend the invite if it's still pending, or expired:
In Settings > Users section, locate their user profile
Click the three dots on the right '...' > Resend invitation
Passwords
To ensure strict confidentiality, the password is set by the user when activating the account. The password cannot be seen by the account admins, nor by HandsHQ staff.
If you're joining an existing account, you set up your own password when activating your login via the email invite.
If you've set up but forgotten your password, reset it here.
Delete a user from your account
If someone leaves your organisation, or someone no longer needs to use HandsHQ, you can revoke their access by removing them from the user list:
In Settings > Users section, locate their user profile
Click the three dots on the right '...' > Remove
The user will no longer be able to log in to their HandsHQ account.
Note: if you want to restore a deleted user, please contact support.
