0:01 This video is in regards to using the temporary route mode for a temporary suspended account. Let's say you have your account here who is severely past due.
0:16 And no matter how many attempts you've made to collect, you're not quite ready to stop service altogether, but you do want to at least temporarily stop service until the bills are paid.
0:30 We recommend first adding an account tag. Now you can tag them with whatever tag you want. These are customizable in the tags field under the settings part of your account.
0:45 But for this example, we've gone ahead and used the suspension. So we have the suspended option here for our tag.
0:51 Again, this is on an account level. What we'll want to do is come here to our route. So this stop is technically scheduled for tomorrow.
1:02 But we see that it has the suspended account. We want to make sure that they do not get picked up tomorrow.
1:09 However, if this attempt at suspending them for one service does work and does get their attention and yields in them paying their bill the day after tomorrow, we want to make sure that we don't miss them moving forward.
1:25 So for that, we'll go ahead and use our temporary route mode. So coming over here in our upper right hand corner, we'll go ahead and select the three dots in toggle on temporary mode.
1:38 We'll confirm that we are going into temporary mode and then you'll also know that you're in temporary mode with the yellow bar across the top.
1:46 So from here we can go ahead and move this stop either by dragging and dropping over into an, assigned or selecting the three dots and selecting bulk unassigned either which work the same way.
2:01 It's just your personal preference. We'll go ahead and unassign that stop. Perfect. So it's removed it from tomorrow's ra, out.
2:11 But what is nice is if we go ahead and turn temporary mode off and let's check the following week, the following Tuesday, we can see that that stop is still here.
2:25 Now what that. Means is that moving forward. The stops will remain the same. We're only temporarily suspending the one service in an attempt to collect payment.
2:42 This can be done week after week if needed. It's just again our recommendation for doing a temporary suspension to try and gain the attention of the customer that might be past due.
2:57 This is also a great option for say vacation where the customer just needs one week skipped. That's an option as well to move just that one week to unassigned.
3:09 Of course you can always mark the work order as skipped as well. Both work for you.
