We offer integrated enrollment through out platform for many carriers, but not all.
But even for enrollments you submit outside of our platform, you can track them all in HealthSherpa Medicare as your single source-of-truth.
This way, whether you enroll through our platform or on a carrier’s site, you’ll still get:
A complete view of your book of business
Quick access to enrollment history
No need for separate tracking
Here are 3 ways to track external enrollments:
Linked-out enrollment tracking
When you're shopping for plans, if you click the "Enroll" button for a carrier that doesn't have integrated HealthSherpa enrollment, you'll see this page:
Click the blue button. You’ll be taken to the carrier’s site to complete the enrollment. (We list the chosen plan's name and ID for your reference as you go to the carrier's site to find the chosen plan and enroll.)
And as soon as you click, we’ll auto-generate a record in the Contact's Profile – pulling in the plan name, ID, effective date, premium, and type:
After enrolling on the carrier site, just hit "Edit" to finalize the record:
Change the status from "Redirect started" to "Submitted"
Add the submitted date
Add the confirmation number (this is important for your record keeping)
Which will update the enrollment record to look like this:
That’s it. You now have a complete external enrollment record saved in HealthSherpa!
Manually adding enrollments
You can also manually log an enrollment anytime:
Go to a Contact Profile
Click Add enrollment
Enter the details
This record will live alongside any others for that contact.
Importing enrollments
Want to add a batch of enrollments? Our Import Contacts feature allows you to import one enrollment record per person, along with their other demographic details.

A: See our list of carriers with integrated enrollment. Our platform automatically guides you to the appropriate enrollment method for each carrier.
Q: Can I edit enrollment details after marking it as submitted? A: For Manually Added or Linked Out enrollment records, yes. For Imported enrollments, no.
Q: Why is this feature valuable?
A: While direct enrollment through our platform is ideal, Enrollment Redirects ensures you can maintain a complete book of business in one place, even when enrolling outside of our platform.
