ComTrack is a commission tracking and policy status platform for by Medicare agents and agencies. It connects to 300+ carrier portals to automatically retrieve your Book of Business and commission data, and bring it together in one place – no more logging into carrier portals or hunting through spreadsheets.
If you have a ComTrack account, you can integrate it with HealthSherpa Medicare to see carrier-reported policy status and commission data directly on your HealthSherpa Medicare contact records.
What the integration does
Your enrollments flow to ComTrack
When you submit a MAPD, MA, or Part D enrollment in HealthSherpa Medicare, the application data is automatically sent to your ComTrack Applications table.
ComTrack matches it.
ComTrack takes that application and tries to find a match in your Book of Business data (for policy status) and your commission data (for payment info). Matching is based on client name, carrier, and effective date.
HealthSherpa pulls it back.
HealthSherpa checks your ComTrack account overnight for applications that have policy or commission data. When a match is found, a green row appears at the bottom of your enrollment card, showing:
Policy status (e.g., "Active," "Pending," "Termed").
Commission data (e.g., "Paid $2,550, May 2026").
Set up the integration
You'll need:
A ComTrack account. (It's recommended that you set up their Retrieve option which automates the collection of data from carriers.)
A HealthSherpa Medicare account
Step 1: Get your webhook URL and API key from your ComTrack account
1. In ComTrack, navigate to Applications, then to HealthSherpa Medicare.
2. Copy your Inbound Webhook URL and API key.
For more detail on this step, see ComTrack's guide.
Step 2: Add the webhook in HealthSherpa Medicare
In HealthSherpa Medicare, go to the Integrations tab.
In the Webhook card, click Add webhook.
Paste your ComTrack webhook URL into the Destination URL field.
Set Authentication method to API Key and paste your ComTrack API key.
Click Save webhook.
Step 3: Add your ComTrack API key in HealthSherpa Medicare
This lets HealthSherpa pull policy status and commission data back from your ComTrack account.
In HealthSherpa Medicare, on the Integrations tab, find the ComTrack card.
Click Add API key.
Paste the same ComTrack API key from Step 1.
Click Save.
That's it! Your ComTrack and HealthSherpa Medicare accounts are now connected. New enrollments will flow to ComTrack automatically, and HealthSherpa will check your ComTrack account overnight for matched data.
Backfill existing enrollments
The integration only covers enrollments submitted after setup. To get ComTrack data on older enrollments:
Export your contacts from HealthSherpa Medicare as a CSV.
In Comtrack, navigate to Applications > HealthSherpa MedicareI
Upload that CSV into ComTrack here:
ComTrack matches those uploaded records against your existing BOB and commissions. Any matched statuses appear in HealthSherpa Medicare within 24 hours.
For agencies
If you're an agency, setting up the integration covers your captive downline agents automatically. They'll see policy status on their enrollment cards without any setup. Commission data is only visible to the agency, not to downline agents.
Independent agents connected to an agency that has set up the integration will see policy status on enrollments for carriers connected to that agency. To see commission data and to cover enrollments outside of that agency, independent agents can set up their own integration – which unlocks both policy status and commission across all of their enrollments.
Troubleshooting
For 1:1 help, book a session with ComTrack's support team here.
I don't see any ComTrack data on my enrollments.
Make sure you completed both setup steps – the webhook (Step 2) and the API key (Step 3). Both are required.
Data only appears for enrollments submitted after setup. For older enrollments, see the backfill section above.
Make sure you're seeing matches on the ComTrack side. If you're not, reach out to ComTrack support.
Data refreshes overnight. If you submitted an enrollment today, check back tomorrow.
It can take 3–10 days for carriers to update their data, which is what ComTrack pulls from.
The policy status looks wrong.
ComTrack displays the raw status from your carrier's Book of Business report. If it looks incorrect, verify the data in your ComTrack account first. If ComTrack's data matches what the carrier reported, the issue is on the carrier side.
I see policy status but no commission data.
This is normal. Commission data may arrive on a different schedule, or the carrier may not have issued a commission yet. The commission field will update once ComTrack has a match.
I'm a captive agent and I don't see the setup options.
The ComTrack integration is managed at the agency level. Contact your agency administrator to set it up.
Can this ComTrack data be added to my Exports or Webhook?
