If you started a payment to a creator using Heepsy, there is a 3-day period in which you can start a payment pause request.

If you find that a creator did not meet the agreed-upon terms of your collaboration before the payment is processed, Heepsy provides a way to pause the payment until the creator does meet the requirements of your collaboration.

When to Start a Payment Dispute

A payment dispute should be initiated if:

  • The creator did not deliver the promised content.

  • The content delivered does not meet the quality or specifications outlined in the agreement.

  • Any other breach of the agreed-upon collaboration terms.

Steps to Start a Payment Dispute

  1. Identify the Issue Early

    • Monitor the collaboration closely to ensure all agreed-upon terms are being met. If you notice any discrepancies, take note and gather evidence.

  2. Contact Heepsy Support

    • Before the payment is processed, reach out to Heepsy Support to report the issue. It’s important to act quickly to prevent the payment from being finalized.

  3. Provide Detailed Information

    • In your communication with Heepsy Support, provide the following details:

      • Creator's Handle: The social media username of the creator.

      • Campaign Details: A brief overview of the agreed-upon collaboration terms.

      • Issue Description: Clearly describe how the creator did not meet the agreement details.

      • Evidence: Attach any relevant evidence, such as screenshots of conversations, links to the delivered content, and any other supporting documents.

  4. Send Your Request via Email

    • Send all the above information to Heepsy Support via email at support@heepsy.com. Make sure to use a clear and descriptive subject line, such as “Payment Dispute for Collaboration with [Creator’s Handle]”.

  5. Await Response and Resolution

    • Heepsy Support will review your dispute request and the provided evidence. They will contact you if further information is needed. Once the review is complete, they will inform you of the decision and any next steps.

Important Notes

  • Timing is crucial. Ensure you report the issue before the payment is processed. Once the payment is finalized, it may be more difficult to request a refund.

  • Clear Communication: Be clear and detailed in your communication with Heepsy Support to expedite the review process.

Document Everything: Keep thorough records of all communications and content related to the collaboration to support your dispute.
