You can fully customize your store’s color palette using the Atlas Theme’s built-in color settings.

How to Access the Color Settings

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes

  2. Click Customize on the Atlas Theme

  3. In the left sidebar, scroll down and click Theme Settings

  4. Select Colors

What You Can Customize

The Atlas Theme gives you full control over both primary and secondary color settings. Here are just a few of the key options:

Primary Colors

  • Background Main – Your store’s background color

  • Primary Color – Used for highlights and secondary backgrounds

  • Accent Color – Used for buttons, bullet points, and main action accents

Secondary Colors

  • Nav Links – Top navigation menu color

  • Heading – Used for section and card titles

  • Body Text – Applies to standard paragraph text

  • Custom Color #1 & #2 – Versatile colors for advanced branding needs

  • Button Text Color – Sets the text color inside your buttons

You can also toggle Global Color Settings to apply your color scheme consistently across every section — or disable it to set custom colors on a section-by-section basis. Updating the theme colors ensures that your store displays visual consistency globally across all pages, including product and section layouts. This feature allows for a seamless and unified representation of your brand identity.

By customizing and experimenting with your color combinations, you can better align your store with your brand's unique style and identity.

Tip: This is just a portion of the available settings — you’ll find even more options within the Colors tab to fully match your brand.

Best Practices

  • Stick to a clear primary color palette (1–2 key colors max)

  • Use high contrast for call-to-action buttons (dark background, white text, etc.)

  • Preview on both desktop and mobile for consistency

Click Save in the theme editor when you’re done.
