Understanding Your Atlas Subscription

How does Atlas subscription work?

Atlas subscriptions are designed to be simple. There are three plans, and your paid plan adjusts automatically based on your store's performance. You don't need to manually upgrade or downgrade.

Atlas plans overview

Atlas offers three plans:

  • Free Plan at $0/month. This plan lets you test the Atlas AI store generation to see what Atlas can build for you. However, you won't be able to import the generated theme into your store. To use your generated theme on your live store, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan.

  • Starter Plan at $49/month. This is the default paid plan. It includes full access to all Atlas features with unlimited usage, and supports up to $5,000 in added revenue per month through Atlas Bundler and Cart Upsells.

  • Growth Plan at $99/month. This plan includes the exact same features as the Starter Plan with no revenue cap. It applies automatically when your store crosses the $5,000 threshold, or you can opt into it directly through annual billing.

How the plan switch works

Atlas uses a fair pricing system based on your store's monthly performance.

When your store generates $5,000 or more in added revenue within a single billing month through Atlas Bundler or Cart Upsells, your account is automatically upgraded to the Growth Plan ($99/month) for that billing cycle.

This is recalculated every month. If your store does not surpass $5,000 in added revenue from those tools in the following billing cycle, your plan will automatically move back to the Starter Plan ($49/month).

You don't need to do anything. The switch happens automatically in both directions based on that month's performance.

What's included in each plan

Free Plan:

  • AI store generation (preview only)

  • Theme importing is not included. You can generate a store to preview what Atlas builds, but you cannot use it on your live store until you subscribe to a paid plan.

Starter Plan ($49/month) and Growth Plan ($99/month):

Both paid plans include full, unlimited access to all Atlas features:

  • License to use the Atlas theme

  • AI Store Builder (unlimited stores)

  • AI Product Page Builder (unlimited pages)

  • Sales Pages

  • AI Photo Generator (100 per day)

  • Bundler upsells and quantity breaks

  • Cart Upsells

The only difference between the Starter and Growth plans is the billing amount. There are no feature differences or limitations between the two paid plans.

Annual billing

Annual billing is available for the Growth Plan only and gives you a 30% discount. You pay $69/month billed annually ($828/year).

An important benefit of going annual: the automatic plan switch based on the $5,000 added revenue threshold does not apply. Your price stays locked at $69/month regardless of how much revenue your store generates through Atlas tools. This makes it the best option if your store consistently generates over $5,000 in monthly added revenue through Bundler and Cart Upsells, since you'd be paying $69/month instead of $99/month.

The Starter Plan is not available as an annual plan.

Tracking your revenue progress

You can see exactly where you stand in your current billing cycle by visiting the Subscription section in the Atlas app. At the top of the page, you'll find a Revenue this billing cycle tracker that shows your current added revenue against the $5,000 threshold. This makes it easy to monitor how close you are to the Growth Plan switch for that month.

Discount codes

Atlas supports discount codes. If you have a coupon code, you can apply it in the Subscription section of the Atlas app. You'll find a Coupon code field at the top of the page next to your subscription details. Enter your code and click Apply.

Important: discount codes can only be applied when you are not on an active subscription. If you currently have an active paid plan, the code will not apply. To use a discount code, you would need to cancel your current subscription first and then resubscribe with the code applied.

AI Photo Generator usage note

The AI Photo Generator was recently migrated to a new model to improve quality and reliability. During this transition, a temporary daily usage limit of 100 generations per day has been applied per account due to initial API quotas set by Google.

The limit is set high enough that most users won't be affected, but if you do reach it, your usage will reset the following day.

Will higher limits return? Yes. The goal is to restore higher usage limits as Google expands our API quota. You don't need to do anything on your end. Limits will increase automatically once the quota is expanded.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to manually upgrade or downgrade? No. Plan changes between Starter and Growth happen automatically based on your monthly added revenue through Atlas Bundler and Cart Upsells.

Will I lose anything when my plan changes? No. Your store, theme, feature configurations, and all data remain intact. The only thing that changes is the billing amount.

Can I switch to annual billing at any time? Yes. You can switch to annual billing on the Growth Plan at any time from the Subscription section in the Atlas app.

What counts toward the $5,000 added revenue threshold? Only revenue generated through Atlas Bundler and Cart Upsells counts toward the threshold. Revenue from other Atlas features does not factor into the plan calculation.

What's the difference between the Free Plan and paid plans? The Free Plan lets you generate a store to preview what Atlas can build, but you cannot import or use the theme on your live store. To go live, you'll need to subscribe to the Starter Plan or higher.
