The AI wizard generates a set of bundle offers from your costs, so the discounts are calculated against your margin rather than guessed at. By the end of this you will have a set of offers in your bundle ready to review and edit. You need to know your cost of goods per unit and your selling price.
In this article:
Step 1: Open the wizard
Two ways in:
From the template modal when creating a bundle, select
Create using AIIn an existing bundle, open the
AI wizardtab, titledAI setup wizard
Step 2: Enter your numbers
Field | What to enter |
| What one unit costs you |
| What you sell one unit for |
The help text defines COGS: "Cost of goods sold is your direct costs associated with producing your product."
💡 Include your per-unit shipping and payment processing cost in the COGS figure, not just the product cost. A discount that looks profitable against the product cost alone can be a loss once fulfilment is counted.
Step 3: Choose how many offers
Set Number of offers.
Three is the usual right answer. One offer gives customers nothing to compare against, two often reads as a single upsell, and beyond four the block gets long enough that people stop reading.
You can also set Primary color and Accent color here, so the generated offers arrive already close to your store's palette.
Step 4: Add an upsell or gift
Optionally attach extras before generating:
Add an upsell product, or leave it asNo upsellAdd a gift product, or leave it asNo gift
The wizard factors a gift into its pricing, so a gift added here is accounted for in the discounts it proposes rather than eating into them afterwards.
Step 5: Generate
Select Generate AI recommended offers. The button shows Generating... while it works.
Not happy with the result? Generate new offers runs it again. Each run produces a different set, so running it two or three times and picking the best is a reasonable approach.
Reviewing what it produced
The wizard writes offers into the Offers tab. It does not publish anything.
Check these before publishing:
The maths at every tier. Confirm each offer still makes money at your real costs, including shipping.
The titles and subtitles. Generated copy is functional. Yours will be better.
The default selection. Make sure the offer you most want customers to take is the one preselected.
The badge. One badge, on the offer you are pushing.
⚠️ The wizard works from the numbers you gave it. If your COGS figure was wrong or excluded shipping, every offer it generated will be wrong in the same direction. Check the arithmetic on at least the deepest discount before publishing.
When to use it and when not to
Use it when:
You know your costs but not what discount structure to run
You want offers that are profitable by construction rather than by hope
You are setting up bundles across several products and want consistency
You want a sensible starting point to edit rather than a blank tab
Skip it when:
You already know exactly what you want, in which case
Create from Scratchis fasterYour pricing is constrained by something the wizard cannot know, such as a distribution agreement or a price-matching commitment
You are matching a competitor's specific offer
ℹ️ The wizard is a starting point, not a decision. Everything it generates is fully editable, and most stores end up adjusting the copy even when the pricing is right.
