Templates are starting points. Each one sets up a working offer structure you can then edit freely, so the choice affects how much you have to configure rather than what is possible. All five are reachable from Select Bundle Template when you create a bundle.
The five templates
Template | What it does | Example given in the app |
Buy X Get Y | Offer a free or discounted product when customers buy another product. | Buy 1, Get 1 50% OFF / Buy 2, Get 1 FREE / Buy 3, Get 2 FREE |
Volume Discount | Offer increasing discounts when customers buy multiple units of the same product. | Buy 2 (10% off), Buy 3 (20% off), Buy 5 (30% off) |
Buy x, get y + Volume Discount | Both approaches combined. | Buy 2 (10% off), Buy 3 (20% off), Buy 4 (30% off) |
Complete the Look | Bundle complementary products together at a discounted price. | Complete outfit: shirt, pants, and shoes for 20% off |
Special Bundle + Free Gift | Tiered pricing with free gifts at higher tiers to encourage larger purchases. | Buy 1 (10% off), Buy 2 (20% off), Buy 3 (20% off + FREE gift) |
Quantity selector templates
A second family, on the Quantity selector tab of the template picker. These use the quantity selector layout rather than the stacked offer list, and they come pre-styled.
Template | What it does |
| Buy X Get Y free offers for maximum perceived value |
| Tiered percentage discounts with increasing savings |
| Fixed dollar amount savings for bulk purchases |
| Elegant gradient-styled cards for premium products |
Individual offers you can start from include Buy 1 (regular price), Buy 1, Get 50% OFF, Buy 2, Get 1 FREE, Buy 2 + Free Shipping, Buy 3, Get 2 FREE and Complete the look.
ℹ️ Picking a template also sets the bundle's layout. That is the only place the quantity selector layout is chosen, since the Offer layout control on the Settings tab offers only Vertical and Horizontal.
Which to choose
Your situation | Template |
Customers buy several of the same item | Volume Discount |
You want to move a slow item alongside a fast one | Buy X Get Y |
Your products are naturally worn or used together | Complete the Look |
You have a low-cost item that makes a good gift | Special Bundle + Free Gift |
You want volume pricing and a giveaway at the top tier | Buy x, get y + Volume Discount |
💡 Volume Discount is the safest first bundle. It works on almost any product, customers understand it instantly, and it does not require you to decide which second product to pair.
Browsing and previewing
The template modal has three tabs: All Templates, Bundle Templates and Offer Templates.
Bundle Templates set up a whole bundle.
Offer Templates are individual offers you can add to a bundle you are already building.
Search with Search in bundle and offer templates. Nothing matching shows No templates found.
Each card shows Used by {count} stores, which is a reasonable proxy for how well a structure works in practice.
Select a template to see it in Previewing - {templateName}. Before you pick one, the panel shows Select a template to preview. Selected templates gather in Selected Templates ({count}), and Clear all empties the selection.
The two alternatives
Both sit at the bottom of the template modal under Want to create a custom bundle?: create one from scratch, or get help from the AI to curate the best bundles for you.
Create from Scratch gives you an empty bundle. Choose this when you know exactly what you want and a template would only be something to undo.
Create using AI opens the AI wizard, which generates offers from your cost of goods and a target discount. Choose this when you want offers that are profitable by construction rather than guessed at. See Using the AI wizard to generate offers.
What a template does not lock in
Nothing. After applying a template you can change every offer, its pricing type, its quantities, its badges, its colours and its text. You can add and remove offers freely.
A template is not a mode. Once applied, the bundle behaves exactly as if you had built it yourself.
ℹ️ You can also pick a colour preset while choosing a template, with Solid and Gradient options. Like everything else, this is only a starting point and can be changed on the Colors tab afterwards.
