Who this is for: Hosts with a cleaning credential who check homes after an install.
What is this job about?
After a new Landing home is installed, this walkthrough confirms it meets Landing's standards and is ready for a member to move in. You walk the whole home, document its condition on the Home Final Walkthrough form, and photograph the access items. See Landing Cleaning Standards.
Look at the home the way a member would on their first day. Check that every room is clean, furnished, and staged, that nothing is damaged or missing, and that the keys, fobs, and parking passes are all there.
What do I need before I start?
Before you head to the home, check you have everything in this table. The times are a guide for each home size.
Credential | Cleaning credential |
How long it takes | About 2 hours for a 1 or 2 bedroom home, about 3 hours for a 3 bedroom home, and about 4 hours for a 4 bedroom home |
What to bring | Your phone, charged, to fill out the form and take photos |
Access | Read the access instructions in your job before you arrive. See Getting In. |
Don't skip these
Complete every task in the Host App as instructed, and upload the photos each task asks for. A job is not complete until every task is done. Pay particular attention to these:
"Home Final Walkthrough Form." Fill out the form in the task to document the condition of every room. This is Landing's record that the home is ready for a member.
"Photograph Access Items." Take a photo of every access item for the home, such as keys, fobs, and parking passes.
What if something is not right?
Something is damaged, broken, or not working. Note it on the form and submit a maintenance request. See Making a Maintenance Request.
Furniture or housewares are missing. Note them on the form and let Landing know through the chat. See Houseware Inventory & Room Location.
The home is not clean or not staged. Note it on the form and let Landing know through the chat, so Landing can fix it before the member moves in.
