What should I do before and during delivery to ensure everything goes smoothly?
Proper preparation helps avoid failed deliveries, extra fees, and frustration. This guide explains how to measure your space, prepare for delivery day, and understand what to expect from the delivery team.
Before Placing Your Order
Before completing your purchase, make sure your space is ready to receive the sofa.
Measure carefully to confirm the item fits through:
Doorways
Hallways
Staircases
Elevators
All measurements should be taken with the item’s packaging included. Product dimensions can be found on each product page.
Important to Know:
If a sofa cannot be delivered due to size restrictions, rescheduling or cancellation fees may apply.
Sofas are delivered fully assembled, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Disassembly services are not available.
How Delivery Scheduling Works
Once your order is ready to ship:
If multiple items are part of your order, you’ll be notified once everything is ready to be dispatched together.
The assigned delivery carrier will contact you to schedule a time slot, typically within a 4-hour window.
If your order ships via FedEx or UPS, no scheduling is required. You’ll receive a tracking link to monitor delivery status.
On the Day of Delivery
Here’s how to ensure everything goes smoothly:
An authorized recipient aged 18 or older must be present to receive the delivery.
Clear a path from the entry point to the delivery area.
Protect your floors and nearby furniture if needed — delivery personnel are not authorized to move or rearrange your existing items.
For large sofas, ensure that stairwells, elevators, and entryways are completely accessible.
What If I Need to Reschedule?
If you need to change your scheduled delivery date or time:
Contact the assigned carrier as soon as possible.
Rescheduling may result in additional fees, depending on carrier policy and timing.
For orders with white-glove delivery or scheduled time slots, it’s best to reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
