Updating your information on Vest: a key step to protect your account and investments

At Vest, we’re committed to offering you a safe, transparent, and personalized investing experience. As part of that commitment, we’ll occasionally ask you to update your personal and financial information.

This isn’t just a formality—it’s a key process that helps keep your account secure, ensures your investment decisions are well supported, and allows us to comply with the highest standards in financial security and regulation.

What 's happening?

We’re launching a data revalidation process for all our users. In the coming days, you’ll be asked to review and confirm your information within the app. The goal is to ensure that everything is up to date and reflects your current situation.

Why are we doing this?

  • Financial regulations (like FINRA guidelines) require us to keep your information up to date.

  • Your financial profile may change over time, and we want to offer you products that match your goals today.

  • It's one of the best ways to protect your account and your funds.

Will this happen often?

Yes. This update is part of a recurring process based on things like:

  • Regulatory changes

  • Your account behavior

  • Standard review periods defined by the financial industry

We want this to feel natural for you as an investor—like checking your portfolio or diversifying your investments.

How will the process work?

We’ll do it in two stages to give you enough time and peace of mind:

Stage 1 – Full access + Voluntary update

During the first stage June 23rd to 29th, you’ll have full access to the app and can update your information at any time.

This is your best chance to complete the process calmly and without restrictions.

Stage 2 – Required update to continue

If you haven’t updated your information by the end of Stage 1, you’ll see a message asking you to complete the process before continuing.

You won’t be able to use the app or access your investments until verification is complete.
