How to Open Your Investment Account on vest.app
Updated today

At this point, you should have already created your profile...Welcome! 🥳

To continue, here's what you need to know:

  • Minimum age: 18 years.

  • You need an official ID from your country, either a national ID or passport. It must be a physical document.

  • We will need your tax identification number.

  • And your residential address.

With this information and your ID at hand, follow these steps:

  1. Open vest.app.

  2. Click on the "Open Account" button. If you don’t see it, click on "Portfolio" at the bottom left.

  3. Complete the form, and you're all set!

Here are some general tips, especially when you need to upload photos of your document:

🌱 Use your full name to ensure there's no mismatch between the details you provided and your ID.

🌱 When you add your address, make sure to include the full address, including the street, number, and details (apartment, house, etc.).

🌱 When capturing the photo of your document, make sure that:

  • It’s valid: It should have an expiration date later than the date you are applying for your investment account.

  • It’s legible: Try to take the photo in a well-lit area without flash so all the information is clear.

  • It’s in good condition and original (physical): Frame the document well in the photo. Tip: make sure all four corners of the original document are visible.

  • Something went wrong? If your document meets all the requirements but was still rejected, it might be because:

    • The photo is too blurry or dark.

    • There are reflections or glare.

    • The entire document is not visible; some parts are cut off or covered by a finger.

Check our tips and try again.

🌱 For the selfie, we recommend not wearing glasses, keeping your ears visible, and ensuring good lighting.
