Am I Trading Real Money?

Written by Hex Funded

No. All Hex Funded accounts operate within a simulated trading environment using virtual funds.

What This Means

While Hex Funded streams real market data directly from liquidity providers to accurately mirror live trading conditions, every account issued by us, including funded accounts, remains a simulated demo account.

You are never trading with or risking real capital. Your own money is never at stake.

Why We Do It This Way

This structure exists for an important reason. By operating in a simulated environment, we are able to:

  • Assess your trading performance objectively

  • Evaluate your discipline and risk management over time

  • Identify traders whose strategies, consistency, and approach reflect the standards of a professional trader

The simulated environment mirrors real market conditions as closely as possible. The spreads, pricing, and data are real. The capital is virtual. This allows you to develop and perform without the psychological pressure of risking your own money, while still being held to professional standards.

What This Means for You

Trading in a simulated environment does not mean the rules are relaxed or that performance does not matter. You are expected to trade as if the capital were real, because the habits, discipline, and risk management you build here are what will define you as a trader.

Your profits are real. Your payouts are real. The standards are real.

The only thing that is simulated is the capital you are trading with.
