Are these changes permanent?
Some updates, like new loyalty programs and brand partners, are here to stay. Others, such as minimum redemption thresholds and how certain redemptions are fulfilled, are temporary as we upgrade our systems. As we onboard more direct partners, we’ll restore 1k minimums and bring back near-instant transfers.
We’ve also introduced partial redemptions for FlyAnywhere, so you can now redeem from just 1k Max Miles to offset your flight cost. While we hope to keep this long-term, it’s currently being trialed and may be time-limited based on market response.
Are more changes coming?
Yes, this is just the first in a series of updates as we build a stronger HeyMax with better value for our users. We’re actively expanding redemption options, bringing on more partners, and continually improving the experience to serve you better.
Will the redemption experience become more seamless in the future?
Yes. Improving the redemption journey is a top priority. We’re building toward a seamless, app-first experience where you can earn, redeem, and book travel - all within HeyMax.
How is HeyMax working to improve the Max Miles program?
We’re strengthening our network of direct airline, hotel, and other travel partnerships, improving backend systems, and listening closely to user feedback. These steps are part of a long-term plan to make Max Miles more flexible, more valuable, and easier to use.
