Requests

How to manage your callback and interview requests.

Written by Anna Andreocci

Types of Requests

Requests are made by your Hiring Manager to kick-start the interview process.

There are two types of requests that can be made:

  • A callback request - this is made on a vacancy or candidate portal using the request callback button on the top right corner of the portals.

  • An interview request - these are made by Hiring Managers from the individual candidate cards on a vacancy portal. If you don't want to allow Hiring Managers to request an interview from inside a vacancy portal, you can toggle this off in the Applicant Display section in the 'Settings' tab.

Managing Your Requests

When you have requests, these will appear in the 'Requests' tab in your menu. Click on the πŸ‘οΈ symbol to see more information on the request, as shown below. You'll be notified by email every time a request is made so you know when to follow up.

Candidate Status Notifications

On top of requesting interviews and callbacks, Hiring Managers can move candidates from 'Shortlisted' - where they start - to 'Interviewing', 'Offer Made' or 'Rejected' from their Kanban view of the vacancy portal. When moving a candidate, they'll be prompted to give a reason but this is not compulsory unless they are rejecting a candidate. When there is any movement on your vacancy portal, you'll be notified via email.
