The first thing to know is that any updates you make in the 'Settings' menu are only applied to the specific vacancy portal you're working on at the time. They are not universal to all of your portals and are not applied company-wide. The only changes that are applied at a company-wide level are updates made by Admin Users in the Admin Dashboard. More on that here >>
Read on to understand the 'Settings' tab options available to you, or click the list on the right to go to a specific section.
Display
Owner
By default, the owner of the vacancy portal is the person who created the job in Bullhorn. However, if a different person is managing the vacancy, the owner can be changed within the 'Settings' tab. This will update whose details appear to Hiring Managers. You can also toggle the display of the owner's details off. If you are changing an owner, be sure to add their email address to the notification section if you want them to receive activity updates.
Logo & Group Chat
By default, your company logo (if it's been added in the Admin Dashboard) will appear on your portal. The Group Chat functionality will also be on by default. To disable any of these from appearing, simply turn the relevant toggle off.
Note: Turning chats off after there has been activity does not delete the messages. If the chat function is turned back on, the messages will still be visible.
Notifications
The person who created a vacancy portal will automatically receive any notifications when activity takes place. Additional people can be added to the notifications recipient list by adding their email address.
Notifications are automatically sent when:
your vacancy portal has been accessed by a Hiring Manager
a Hiring Manager has requested an interview with a candidate
a Hiring Manager has requested a callback from you
a Hiring Manager has sent you a message in a Group Chat
a Hiring Manager has moved a candidate to a new stage

Applicant Display
By default, the information stored against your candidate from the 'Employment Histories', ‘Education’ and ‘References’ tabs in Bullhorn will be used to populate the Applicant Profile section of your portal. However, if you'd prefer to upload a CV, or any other available document, toggle the Profile Display option from 'RECORD' to 'DOCUMENT'. When you re-visit the Applicant Profile, you'll now have the option to 'Select Profile Document'.
You can also choose to hide the 'Request for Interview' button if you don't want Hiring Managers to have this option.
Password
For data security, vacancy portals are secured by a password by default. However, you can toggle this off within the 'Security' section. When enabled, the password you've set will be shared with your Hiring Manager along with the portal link when you click 'Copy Invitation' (you'll find this option within the toolbar on the top right-hand side). When toggled off, Hiring Managers won't need to enter a password but will still need to enter their email to gain access to the vacancy portal.
You can set your password in two ways:
in the security section in the 'Settings' tab - you can set a password, preview a current password or update an existing one.
when publishing a vacancy portal - you'll be prompted to create a password when you publish it. Once done, if you need to preview or update it, you can manage this in the 'Settings' tab.
Note: If you change the password while a Hiring Manager has access to the portal, you'll need to tell them the new password if you still want them to be able to access it.
Email Verification
For data security, by default, Hiring Managers also need to enter an auto-generated one-time password that's sent to their email to gain access a vacancy portal. However, you can also toggle this off in the security section of the 'Settings' tab if you prefer.
