If you're reading this article you should already have created your formatted CV, ready for sending out. If you haven't done that yet, read this article first and come back when you get to that stage >>
Submitting a Candidate Through the AssistCV Portal
To enter the AssistCV portal, click the 'Portal' button next to the Profile button.
Once you're in the portal you'll see a navigation bar at the top of the page. Here’s what each button does.
Update Your Clients
Use this button to send a client update from inside AssistCV.
Select who you want to send it to, then type your message. You'll see you also have the option of using AI to help you craft your message.
Once done, your message will be added to an email that includes a link to the portal.
A copy of the email is below. Your note, auto-generated or otherwise, will follow on.
Be sure to sign it off as you normally would in an email.
Copy Invitation
Use this button to copy the invite to send via email. When you paste it into an email, you’ll be able to make edits before sending on.
View Your Callback Requests
This button will show you a list of callback requests that have been made. A Hiring Manager will be prompted to input their contact details when making this request.
Change Profile Display
This button lets you choose between displaying the candidate’s profile or a document, allowing you to send the candidate's original CV via the portal.
Hiring Manager Downloads
There's a setting in the Admin Dashboard that allows Admin users to toggle the ability for Hiring Managers to download your candidate's CV and any attached documents on or off (more on that here >>). It's on by default which means your Hiring Managers can download the info sent in your candidate portal.
The AssistCV Log
The log shows a list of other colleagues that have sent this candidate out via the portal, including how many times and the time and date the latest was sent. The rocket icon indicates whether the latest spec is currently published or not. Please note the log will not include data for portals sent via email rather than via Bullhorn as we don’t have access to that information.
Happy speccing!
