  • Lets you choose the grade level and customize the number and types of questions, including:

    • Multiple Choice

    • Short Response

    • Extended Response (Argumentative, Informative, Narrative, etc.)

  • Aligns to specific topics, standards, or texts

  • Supports differentiated assessment to meet diverse classroom needs

Perfect for checking comprehension, preparing for tests, or guiding instruction, this tool makes quiz creation fast and efficient.

Using the Tool

  1. Select a Program from the dropdown menu to align your quiz with a specific curriculum or instructional material.

    • This step is optional—if you don’t choose a program, you can still create a fully customized quiz using your own topic or standards. If you skip this step, go to Step 2.

    • If you selected a program, choose a Module/Unit to narrow the focus of your quiz to a specific section of content you're covering.

    • If you selected a program, choose an Instructional Routine to ensure the quiz supports the structure of your current teaching strategy or lesson flow.

  2. Pick the Grade Level of your students so the questions are age-appropriate and aligned to grade-level standards.

  3. Choose the Number and Type of Questions by selecting how many multiple choice, short response, and extended response questions you'd like included. For extended responses, you can also choose the genre (e.g., Argumentative, Informative, Narrative).

  4. Enter a Topic, Standard, Text, or Description in the text box to tell the AI what the quiz should be based on. The more specific and detailed your input, the more accurate and relevant your quiz will be.

    • For Example: “Standard 6.RL.3 – Analyze how particular elements of a story interact” or “A quiz based on Chapter 5 of Hatchet focusing on character development”

  5. Upload a File (optional) if you want the quiz to be based on a specific text, standard, or resource. This helps the AI generate more targeted questions.

  6. Click Generate to create your quiz. You’ll receive a set of editable questions tailored to your selections and input.
