The Lesson Plan Generator is a versatile AI tool designed to help educators quickly create detailed, standards-aligned lesson plans for any subject and grade level.

Whether you're planning a new unit, sub lesson, or want a quick draft to personalize, this tool offers a structured and customizable starting point for your classroom instruction.

What Can the Lesson Plan Generator Do?

The Lesson Plan Generator can:

  • Create comprehensive lesson plans based on selected subject, grade level, class length, and number of instructional days

  • Align lesson components with academic standards, including objectives, materials, instructional steps, assessments, and reflection

  • Support differentiated instruction by accommodating diverse student needs and instructional settings

  • Accepts custom input or uploads to fine-tune the lesson to your classroom context

  • Streamline planning for daily lessons, long-term curriculum development, or instructional coaching without sacrificing quality

Perfect for day-to-day planning, long-term curriculum development, or instructional coaching, this tool saves time and helps ensure high-quality instruction.

Using the Tool

  1. Select a Program (if applicable) from the dropdown menu.

  2. If a program was not selected, manually select the Subject for your lesson.

  3. If a program was not selected, manually select the Grade.

  4. Next, set the Days in Lesson.

  5. Then set the Class Length.

  6. Define the allotted time for Independent Practice per Day: how much time per day will be allocated for independent student work.

  7. Enter a brief description of what the lesson will focus on in Topic or Learning Objective.

  8. In Additional Information (Optional), type or upload details such as standards, context, or specific instructional goals.

  9. Click Generate to create your full lesson plan.

💡Tip! The more context you provide—like previous classwork or target standards—the more tailored your plan will be. You can always revise the plan later, but giving specifics upfront leads to stronger starting points.
