The referral stays in the portal until it has been used at the lab (once your sample is collected and results are on the way, it is no longer available there).

One visit only. Each referral and SMS link is for one blood collection. If you need another test later, order or request a new referral in the portal.
Free Medicare bulk-billed blood test
Your doctor approved a free bulk-billed test (for example ongoing TRT blood tests).
Hormn may send a short approval SMS first.
Healius sends the lab referral to your mobile during business hours (from around 9 AM AEST). If approval was outside business hours or at night, the Healius SMS usually arrives on the next business day — wait before asking for a re-send.
There is no PDF in the Hormn portal for bulk-billed tests. Hormn does not have that file. Use the Healius SMS on your phone at the lab.
One visit only. Each Healius SMS referral is for one collection. For your next bulk-billed test, request a new one in the portal (for example Get free test on your Low Testosterone treatment) after your doctor approves it.

Results
After collection at a Healius centre, your results usually reach Hormn within 1–3 business days. A Hormn doctor reviews them before they appear in your portal — so they may take a little longer than the lab turnaround.
Bulk-billed referrals are valid for 12 months, but each SMS is still only for one visit — if you already had blood taken on that referral, you need a new request for another test.
