The recording of results for Dressage events follows the same basic process as all other disciplines. The basic process is covered in this article:
So you can choose to score using the "Basic - Ranking Only" template but for more detailed scoring or for PYO classes and Team Quest you have a choice of templates:
Dressage Template
This is the most commonly used scoring template for Dressage events.
As with all templates the competitors to be scored are listed under Up Next and will drop to Completed when their score is saved.
The scoring is very simple - simply type in the grey boxes indicated:
The first box is the total points - including collectives
NOTE - if you have not input a judge then you just key in the Total box, which will be available in this instance
Collectives can be recorded separately too and will be used in the event of a tie
As you type the % will be calculated for you:
Click the 3 dots and Save the information entered
Once saved the Competitor will drop to Completed, and will be placed:
You can use the Qualified and Class Ticket boxes if appropriate
Status can be added, as with all templates
Remember - for British Dressage imported events the Points will be pre-populated. For unaffiliated events you need to input this field and Update Points:
Live scoring
By publishing your results as soon as you start to input you can show live placings to your competitors.
To do this you simply select Publish at the top of the page and the results are visible to the public:
