What is SureLC?

  • SureLC is the site through which agents complete contracting with most of our carriers. Agency owners use SureLC to manage contracting for the agents in their downline and agents use SureLC for almost all their contracting related needs.

Why can’t I see my agents?

  • There are a few reasons why you wouldn’t be able to see your agents:

    • Your agent hasn’t created their account in SureLC yet. Your agent will need to use their agency owner’s affiliation link to create their account. After account creation, their agency owner will be able to see the agent in their SureLC admin account.

    • Your agent has created a SureLC account, but they’re under a different affiliation. This can happen if an agent has an older SureLC account or if the agent created their account through a generic URL instead of their agency owner’s affiliation link. If this is the case, please submit a support ticket to our Contracting department so that we can investigate.

    • Your agent is an Advanced Markets/transferring agent as indicated in the Onboarding Portal. These agents will be assigned to a different affiliation until contracts have been confirmed by the Contracting team. Once these contracts have been confirmed, the agents’ affiliations will be corrected.

    • Your agent is having a commission and/or hierarchy change completed. If this is the case, you will be unable to see your agent while the change is taking place. After the change has been completed, your agent’s affiliation will be changed to the appropriate one.

    • You’re not logged into your SureLC admin account. It’s possible that you’re instead logged into your SureLC producer account and need to switch over to your admin account. Please log out and go to https://surelc.com to log in with your admin account credentials.

    • Your leadership level is not at least at the agency owner level. Currently, only agency owners and above have SureLC admin accounts. These accounts allow agency owners to view the agents within their agency in SureLC. Please reach out to your agency owner for more information regarding this.

Why can’t I select certain carriers to send to my agent?

  • Currently, SureLC admins are only able to send out contracts for our core carriers. For your agent to receive additional carrier contracts, they will need to meet the requirements listed in the Pre-Appointment Checker form. This form can be accessed at the following URL: https://form.jotform.com/230394303831046.

  • It’s possible that your agent’s resident license is expired, or other information is missing in their profile (such as E&O [Errors & Omissions] Insurance). Missing information can lead to an agent being unable to receive contracting requests for certain carriers and, in some cases, contracting requests at all. Please review your agent’s profile and make sure that there are no outstanding errors.

  • It’s also possible that your agent is licensed in New York only. If this is the case, the agent will have a very limited selection of carriers available to them. Upon receiving a non-resident license for another state, more carriers will become available to your agent.

Where can I find my affiliation link?

  • You should have already received your affiliation link via email, but if it’s been misplaced, please create a support ticket via HQ. We’ll send you your link as soon as possible!

Having difficulty logging into SureLC?

  • For AOs:

    • There are two separate URLs that you’ll use to access your admin and producer accounts. Please make sure that you’re at the right one for the account you want to log into.

NOTE: If your admin and producer accounts have the same username, the passwords must be unique.

  • For all other agents:

    • If you've already created your account in SureLC, please go to the following URL to log into your producer account: https://surelc.surancebay.com/sbweb/agency/38. If you haven't created your SureLC account yet, please reach out to your agency owner for their affiliation link.

    • Please make sure that you’re not using your agency owner’s affiliation link to log into your producer account.

    • Additionally, please make sure that you’ve completed an onboarding application first before accessing SureLC. You will receive a link to create your account upon approval of your onboarding application.
