Build and Configure Task Templates and Profiles

Updated over 12 months ago

Admin Users are able to create and manage Task Templates and Task Profiles. The area to do this can be accessed via the Settings Cog > Configuration > Task Templates or Task Profiles.

Task Templates and Profiles can be built into your system to help users add standard and consistent Tasks to Injury records. Timeframes for the Due Date and default Task Owner are set, which speeds up the process for Task creation.

CREATE A TASK TEMPLATE

To create a new Task Template, click the Add button on the Task Template grid.

Add details to all the fields:

  • Task Template Name - This is how the user finds this Task Template when adding it to an Injury record.

  • Task - This is the label of the Task when looking at the Task grids.

  • Description - This is if further information is required. This information is not able to be seen from the Summary page of the Injury record. It can be found on the Details > Tasks page.

  • Default Owner - This can be left blank, or the Task can be automatically assigned to the Assigned Injury Manager or Claim Manager.

  • Reference Date - This is used to set the Task’s Due Date.

  • Days due after Reference Date - This is how many days after the Reference Date you want the Task to be due.

Task Templates can be edited as required. Any updates will only apply to new Tasks added to an Injury record. There is no retrospective updating.

CREATE A TASK PROFILE

Task Profiles are a group of Task Templates that are able to be applied at the same time. To create a new Task Profile, click the Add button on the Task Profile grid.

Add a Name for the Task Profile. This is used by users to find the Task Profile when applying it to an Injury record.

Select the Policies this Profile needs to apply to and the Task Templates to be included.

Task Profiles can be edited as required. Any updates will only apply to new Tasks added to an Injury record. There is no retrospective updating.
