Layers let you place an extra image or video on top of your scene. Great for logos, b-roll, overlays, screenshots, or picture-in-picture moments.
Add a new layer (desktop)
Open your video in the editor.
Click the scene you want to edit.
In the left panel, open Media.
Choose what you want to add:
Stock items
Generated items
Your Media uploads
Select the image or video you want.
Click Add as a new layer.
Your new layer will appear on top of the scene.
Resize, reposition, or remove a layer (desktop)
Click the scene with the layer.
Open the Design tab in the scene settings.
Scroll until you see the image/video layer you added.
Open its settings to adjust:
Position
Size
To delete it, click Remove (in the same layer settings area).
Notes
You can add either an image or a video as a layer.
Removing and editing layers isn’t supported on mobile right now. If you need to remove or edit a layer, open the project on desktop and follow the steps above.
