We’ve updated how generation pricing works in Hypernatural.
Previously, every initial generation cost a flat 20 credits, regardless of whether you created a short stock video or a longer custom production.
With this update, generation costs are now based on the elements used in your video, such as narration length, images, and animations. This makes pricing more transparent and gives you more control over how credits are used.
Before generating, you’ll always see the full credit cost of your video.
New: Choose between Custom and Stock mode
Before generating a video, you can now choose between Custom mode or Stock mode depending on what you want to create.

Custom mode | Custom characters, products, or consistent visuals | Every scene uses newly generated images. |
Stock mode | Generic visuals or b-roll | Scenes use images from the Hypernatural stock library. |
Stock images are free, so this mode is useful when you need background visuals that do not require custom generation.
Because the first 30 seconds of audio are also free, a 30-second stock-only video can cost 0 credits.

Stock images remain free, just like before.
Custom mode ensures every scene is fully generated and original.

Does this change my subscription price?
No. Subscription plans and monthly credits are not changing. This update only changes how credits are used when generating videos.When does this take effect?
