Using Map Search
Map Search is used to visualize your current search in Basic or Advanced Search. Use Basic or Advanced Search to choose your demographic/voting/etc. criteria, and Map Search to customize exact location. Use them together or independently; just toggle between the options in the top right to move accordingly.

Access Map Search
Map Search can be accessed one of two ways:
1. From the sidebar panel by hovering over Search and clicking into Map.
2. From Basic Search or Advanced Search, you can access Map by clicking the location icon above Selected Criteria, as seen below:
On the Map Search screen, you'll see a map with population clusters around your geography. If you have multi-state access, change state location from Basic or Advanced Search to update the map.
Build Your Audience
Upon entry to the map, clusters will appear to show groups of individuals that are meeting your search criteria.
On the right side of the screen the +/- icon will allow you to either zoom in or out:
The circle icon will let you draw a circle around your target area. Simply click (do not hold down) and drag your cursor to adjust the size of your circle.
This square icon will let you draw a square around your target area. Again, simply click and drag your cursor to make the square larger or smaller.
The final icon will let you draw a custom geography. Please note that you will click and drop until you have created a closed shape.
The Map Overlays icon will allow you to apply different map overlays such as county, state house districts etc.
Those boundaries will then display for you on the map:
The Magnifying Glass icon will allow you to see any previous search criteria:
Note: Your counts will continue to update at the top of the page as create your target geographies.
Address Finder
Use the Address Finder to search for a specific spot on the map. For an address to appear, you must include at least the street name and street suffix (St., Ave., Blvd., etc.).
Example of a search that yields results:
Street name, Pennsylvania. Street suffix, Ave.
Example of an errored search:
This example is missing a street suffix.
Once you've located the address, use the selection tools to narrow down your search.
