If volunteers are struggling to log-in, one of our first suggestions is to change their password. Volunteer passwords can be changed by users in Portal. If a volunteer is also a user, that individual will need to change their own password.
Change Password
Navigate to Contacts > Management and search for the individual whose password you want to change. You can either find their profile by Filter by > Contact Type > Volunteer:
Or by searching for their name:
Once you've located the volunteer, double-click on their name to access their Contact Profile. Select Change Password in the bottom action bar to reset.
Set Password
Passwords must be at least six digits. Your volunteer will be notified that their password has been changed, so we do recommend notifying them to avoid confusion.
