The i360 Facebook API is designed to seamlessly integrate i360 voter and consumer data directly with your Facebook Business Manager for digital advertising efforts.
Before accessing the i360 Facebook API, you must have access to Facebook Business Manager and at least one Ad Account associated with the Business Manager. You’ll need to provide the i360 Media Team will your Facebook Business ID to implement the API.
Once you have an audience created in i360 Search, click Save. This will display the side panel to create a name for your search. Once you save the Audience, click Save again. When your search has been saved, you will have the option to select Export at the bottom of the screen (see below).
This will open the side panel to continue. At this point, you may rename your search. Be sure to select Facebook Export as your Export Type. Click Continue.
The side panel will update to display the New Facebook Export panel. If this is your first time using the i360 Facebook API, you will need to log in to Facebook using credentials that have access to the Facebook Business Manager.
On this page, you will need to confirm:
Saved Audience: This is the name of your saved i360 search.
Business: This should match the business you are exporting to.
Ad Account: Select the Facebook Ad Account for your audience. If you have access to multiple Ad Accounts, you can select from the dropdown.
Facebook Audience: This is the name of your audience that will be exported to Facebook via the API. NOTE: This audience will automatically revert to the most recent audience in Facebook. To create a new audience, click the “+ Add Facebook Audience” button and type in the name of your audience. You can also add a description. If you do not create a new Facebook Audience, your audience will export into the selected Facebook Audience.
Once you click the Place Order button, the Facebook API will kick off the matching process to Facebook. The audience will immediately appear in the Ad Account chosen for the export. The matching process typically takes an hour depending on the export size, with Facebook reporting the match can take up to 24 hours.
