1. Introduction

The Notification Dispatch Logs provide a detailed history of alarm notifications that have been sent. This log is used to monitor, track, and verify the delivery of alarm notifications for specific instruments or Station Groups. It serves as a critical tool for administrators and operators to ensure that notifications are being dispatched as expected and to troubleshoot any issues in the notification process.

To access this page: Click on the left top corner to open the ‘Setting’ side bar, click on the ‘Alarm and Status’ Tab and then click on the ‘Alarm Notification Logs’ page.


2. How to Read - Alarm Notification History Data Table

2.1 To Read Instrument Alarm Notification History

Step 1: Click on the filter next to the instrument Name, type the name(s) and tick one / multiple station-groups to be filtered out.

Step 2: Users can also use the filtering function of other columns to view the alarm notification history in specific condition, e.g. in certain alarm level.

Step 3: Click 'Refresh' button to refresh to latest updates.

Column Name

Description

Instrument Name

Name of the instrument that triggered the alarm

Revision

Revision number of the instrument data that triggered the alarm

Date-Time

Timestamp of the data that triggered the alarm

Data Type

Type of measurement (e.g., Lateral Displacement in mm)

Data

Actual data value that triggered the alarm

Alarm Level

Severity of the alarm (e.g., RED)

Notification Type

Method of notification (e.g., Email, SMS, or Both)

Distribution List

Group or list of recipients notified

Alarm Notification Set Name

Name of the notification configuration set

Date-Time Sent

Timestamp when the notification was sent

Notification Status

Delivery status (e.g., Succeeded, Failed)

Notes

Additional comments or metadata (if any)

Filtering Function

  • Click on the filtering icon ‘’, type in the key words to narrow down records, tick on one or multiple items in the list to apply the filter.

Sorting Function

  • Click on column headers to sort your data.

  • Toggle between ascending and descending order to enhance data management efficiency.

2.2 To Read Station-Group Alarm Notification History

Step 1: Click on the filter next to the instrument Name, type the name(s) and tick one / multiple station-groups to be filtered out.

Step 2: Users can also use the filtering function of other columns to view the alarm notification history in specific condition, e.g. in certain alarm level.

Step 3: Click 'Refresh' button to refresh to latest updates.
