Sorting the List

Click on any sortable column header to sort the list:

By default, the list is sorted by Date Archived in descending order (most recently archived first).

Restoring an Archived User

To restore an archived user back to active status:

  1. Find the user you want to restore in the list

  2. Click the Restore button in the Actions column

  3. A confirmation dialog will appear

  4. Click Restore to confirm

Once restored:

  • The user will be removed from the archived list

  • They will reappear in your active staff list

  • Their previous data and settings will be preserved

Why Archive Instead of Delete?

Archiving users instead of permanently deleting them offers several benefits:

  • Data preservation – All historical records, timesheets, and assignments remain intact

  • Audit trail – You can see who archived the user and when

  • Easy recovery – Restore users quickly if they return to your organisation

  • Compliance – Maintain records for regulatory requirements

Tips

  • Use archiving for staff who have left but may return (e.g., seasonal workers, contractors)

  • The archived user count is displayed next to the section title for quick reference

  • Archived users do not count towards your active user limits
