Leave Tab

The Staff Leave tab allows you to manage leave requests for individual staff members. You can add, edit, approve, reject, and delete leave requests, as well as track leave balances.

Accessing Staff Leave

For a Single Staff Member

  1. Navigate to Staff from the main menu

  2. Click on a staff member's name to open their profile

  3. Select the Leave tab

For All Staff Members

You can also view leave requests across all staff by navigating to Staff β†’ Leave from the main menu. This provides a consolidated view of leave requests for your entire team.

Viewing Leave Requests

Leave requests are displayed in a table with the following columns:

When the leave begins

When the leave ends

Total number of leave days

Status

Current approval status

Submitted

When the request was submitted

Actions

Available actions for the request

Click on the leave type to view the full details of the request.

Leave Types

Annual Leave

Standard paid holiday leave

Personal Leave

Leave for personal matters

Sick Leave

Leave due to illness

Leave Statuses

Status

Meaning

Pending (Yellow)

Request is awaiting approval

Accepted (Green)

Request has been approved

Rejected (Red)

Request has been declined

Adding a Leave Request

  1. Click the Add Leave button in the top right corner

  2. Select the Leave Type

  3. Choose the Start Date and End Date

  4. Enter a Reason for the leave (optional)

  5. Click Save to submit the request

Managing Leave Requests

Click the β‹― (three dots) in the Actions column to access options:

Edit

Modify the leave request details such as dates, type, or reason.

Approve (Pending requests only)

Approve a pending leave request. The leave days will be deducted from the staff member's balance.

Decline (Pending requests only)

Reject a pending leave request.

Delete

Permanently remove the leave request from the system.
