Publish live
Open the form in Form Builder.
Select Share.
Turn on Publish live.
If the form contains internal-only fields, publishing live can be blocked with an error.
If the form is not saved yet, you may be asked to save first.
Copy the public URL
After the form is live:
Open Share.
Select Copy URL.
If you try to copy before publishing, you will see “Publish the form first to get a share link”.
Redirect after successful submission
You can configure a redirect:
Open Share.
Enable the redirect option.
Enter a Redirect URL.
If the URL is invalid, you will see “Enter a valid URL (http:// or https://)”.
Copy embed code
To embed the form:
Open Share.
Select the embed option.
Select Copy to copy the iframe embed code.
If you try to copy before publishing, you will see “Publish the form first to get an embed code”.
Submitter identity on public forms
Public forms can collect identity details. The public form supports:
Required identity collection
Optional identity collection with the question “Do you want to stay anonymous?”
Yes, stay anonymous
No, I'll provide my details
When identity details are collected, the public form asks for:
Name
Email
What the public user sees
A public form includes:
The form title and optional description
Step navigation, when enabled
Previous Step and Next Step
Required field validation with “Required fields missing”
A submit button that can use custom text, or default to Submit
A success screen that can show a custom message, and optionally Submit another response
Troubleshooting
Invalid share link
If the link is missing or incorrect, the public page shows “Invalid share link”.
Form not found
If the token is expired or invalid, the public page shows “Form not found or the link has expired. Please request a new share link.”
People are not being redirected
Confirm redirect is enabled and the Redirect URL is valid.
