Merge Your Placement Campaigns

If your team practices A/B testing within your inbox placement reports, this is for you.

When your team sends a test that involves testing multiple variables, like subject lines or creative content, to the Inbox Monster seed list, our seed addresses are divided between the 2-3 campaigns and may show a large number of missing results.

A few reasons we might see Inbox Placement results split into two campaigns would be: A/B Testing or Subject Line Dynamic Content.

Half of our seed addresses may be receiving email A's campaign but the other addresses are receiving email B's. This will then show separate data points within the campaign overview section.

The screenshot is shown below: Campaign A & B.

Here's how to begin the merging process:

Step 1: This can be adjusted by using the "Merge Results" button when you hover over the campaign results.

Step 2: Once you've selected the 2 campaigns (A&B), a "Merge" button will show up on the top of the campaign dashboard.

Important Note: You CANNOT unmerge a merged campaign!

Step 3: Your campaign is now merged into a single campaign.

You'll see the "Merged campaign" tag to the right of your sending domain.

Feel free to click on the campaign to view the updated inbox placement results.
