Updated over 2 months ago

Your readers can use the search tool on your Indiegraf site to quickly find posts and authors. Below is some useful information on how it works and some tips for best results.

Where to Find the Search Tool

  • Look for the magnifying glass icon 🔍 at the top right corner of your site.

  • Clicking the icon will open the search input field, ready for your query.

What the Search Tool Can Do

  1. Search post content:
The tool currently works best for finding active published post.
Search for them by typing out the post's title.

  2. Search for authors and their work:
You can also search for authors—but there’s a key detail to get the best results:

Type the author’s full name exactly as it appears on the site.

Doing this will return most, if not all, of the posts written by that author.

Summary and Tips

  • For posts: Try using exact or partial titles of active, published posts.

  • For authors: Always use the full name as displayed to see their full range of publications.

    Keep in mind:
The search tool does not currently search pages, tags, or other content types—it focuses only on posts.
