To keep student data secure and up to date, Inquisitive will automatically delete inactive students after 6 months.
What does “inactive” mean?
A student is considered inactive if they are not in any active class with an active teacher. This includes students who are:
Only in archived classes
In classes without a teacher
In classes with an inactive teacher
What happens after 6 months?
After 6 consecutive months of inactivity, the student and their data is scheduled for deletion
If the student is added back to an active class within the 6 month inactive period, the deletion is cancelled.
What gets deleted?
Student data including personal information (e.g. name, email)
All student responses in lesson and assessments (e.g. drawings, written answers)
Notifications
Administrations in School Accounts will receive an email 30 days before scheduled deletion
Students pending deletion in 30 days will be visible in the Student Directory under the Pending Deletion filter only visible to Administrations in School Accounts.
