Square & Rise.ai - All you Need to Know

The Rise-Square integration allows you to manage and sync gift cards, store credits, and customer information across multiple platforms, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Installation

To install Rise on Square, go to the Square App page and click 'Get Started'.


Gift Cards

Integrating Rise on Square means gift cards purchased or used in Square will automatically sync to square.

Note: Existing gift cards in Square will not migrate into Rise upon installation. Only gift cards created or used after the integration is live will sync.


Store Credit / Cashback

With the Rise–Square integration, Customers can accumulate store credit under a single Wallet code. This Wallet can consolidate value from:

  • Customized workflows

  • Cashback programs

  • Refunds and returns

This unified Wallet experience helps reduce fragmentation and makes it easier for Customers to understand and use their balance.

Note: Customer Wallets will appear as a Gift Card in Square, and as a Wallet in Rise.


Notifications

Rise notifications help you keep Customers informed about their Store Credit and Gift Card activity with customized email messages. You can tailor these notifications to match your brand voice and customer experience.

Integrations

Expand your reach by connecting Rise to external notification providers for advanced SMS and email workflows.

  1. Klaviyo Integration: Sync Rise properties to Klaviyo profiles to trigger advanced email flows.

  2. Attentive Integration: Send store credit updates and gift card notifications directly via SMS.


Bulks

Bulk tools let you issue, upload, and manage store credit and gift cards at scale, saving time and reducing manual work.

Looking to migrate existing codes? The Bulk tool is the designated method for importing pre-existing gift cards that were created prior to installing the Rise integration.
