Why a Complete Profile Makes a Difference

Step 1: Access Your Profile Settings
Click the "My Profile" button located in the top-right corner of your Investorlift dashboard to open your profile settings.
👉🏼 All profile changes are made from this one location — photo, contact details, and notification preferences.
Step 2: Upload a Professional Photo
Add a clear, professional headshot to your profile. A real photo helps others put a face to the name and signals that you're a serious, active user on the platform.
👉🏼 Avoid logos or placeholder images — a real headshot builds far more trust with buyers and sellers.
Step 3: Add and Verify Your Contact Information
Make sure your contact details are accurate and up to date so interested parties can easily reach you. This includes your phone number for notifications and two-factor authentication (TFA).
⚠️ Important: VOIP numbers cannot receive SMS verification codes. Your notification number must be a non-VOIP, US phone number to receive TFA codes via SMS.
Step 4: Keep Your Profile Updated
Your profile should reflect your current information at all times. If your phone number, email, or business details change, update your profile right away to avoid missed connections or failed verifications.
