Recording Packing Work

Learn how to record packing tasks at the packing station.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Recording your packing work isn't just about logging numbers—it's a crucial way to summarize your daily performance and provide managers with real-time status updates. Accurate records ensure your workload is measured correctly and your achievements are recognized.

For example, if you are packing mini-cucumbers into 1kg packages, you should record the quantities in the app as the boxes pile up.

This allows the manager to track progress in real-time and adjust staffing or work plans accordingly.

1. Access the Packing Screen

To record packing, first scan the Packing QR Code located at the packing station. In the task list, select Packing Worker and tap the Next button.

2. Select the Crop

Choose the crop you are currently packing. (Crop types are pre-configured by the manager.)

3. Select the Package

Select the specific packaging unit (e.g., Mini-cucumber 1kg) from the screen.

Note: If the manager has not set up specific package units, this selection screen will not appear.

4. Select Task Type and Start

Choose the task type and tap the Start Work button. There are two types of tasks: Quantity-based and Time-based. The measurement method for each task is pre-set by the manager.

4-1. For Quantity-based Tasks

When you select a quantity-based task, you will see a Quantity Input Field and an Add button.

  • Input Field: Displays a default value set by the manager, but you can edit it directly. Once edited, this number stays the same until you change it again.

  • Add Button: Tapping this adds the number in the input field to your session log.

    • Example: If you tap 'Add' at 15:55, 15:57 (with 5 units each), and 16:11 (with 15 units) , the app logs these as separate entries.

  • Deleting Records: If you enter the wrong quantity, simply tap the specific record on the screen to Delete it.

  • Finalizing: All added quantities are summed up at the bottom. Tap the Save button to finalize the total and record it as your performance.

4-2. For Time-based Tasks

When you start a time-based task, an animation will play on the screen.

  • Elapsed Time: The button at the bottom displays the time passed since you tapped the 'Start' button. This represents your actual working time.

  • Finalizing: Tap the Save button once the task is finished. The measured time will be recorded as your work performance.
