A period is the unit within a cycle used to manage greenhouse assignments and planting density separately. You can create multiple periods within a single cycle to operate different schedules by greenhouse.
Adding a Period
Go to Crop & Cycle → Cycle Management, select the crop tab you want to configure, and click the + Add Period button below the registered cycle.
Enter the start and end dates for the period. The dates must fall within the parent cycle's date range.
If planting density is enabled for the cycle, enter the Plants/Gutter and Stems/Plant values.
Click + Add Zone, then select the zone(s) to be cultivated during this period. Multiple selections are allowed.
Click Save.
Once a zone is assigned, planting density and total plant count are calculated automatically and reflected in the Period Summary on the right.
Zones already assigned to another period with overlapping dates cannot be selected.
Checking the Period Summary
Once a period is configured, the following information is automatically calculated and displayed on the right:
Planting Density: The average planting density (plants/m²) across all zones assigned to the period.
Gutter Specifications: Plants per gutter and stems per plant.
Totals: Total plant count and total stem count across all assigned zones.
Setting Planting Density per Zone
When you select a zone, a Detailed Setup button appears. Use this when different zones within the same period require different planting density values.
By default, all zones follow the period's default planting density.
Modifying a specific zone's values in a Detailed Setup applies those values to that zone only.
Individually modified zones are highlighted in orange, and the number of modified zones is shown next to the Detailed Setup button.
If a change was made in error, click the Reset button for that zone to revert it to the default planting density.
