A cycle is the unit used to manage the period from the start to the end of cultivation for a specific crop. Setting up cycles allows you to view harvest and packing data filtered by crop and time period.
Before You Begin
Two things must be configured before creating a cycle:
Zone area entered: Area information for all zones must be filled in under Settings → General. A cycle cannot be created if any zone is missing its area.
Crop registered: The crop you want to link the cycle to must already be registered in the Crop Management section.
Creating a Cycle
Go to Settings → Crop & Cycle.
Select the crop you want to add a cycle.
Click the + Add Cycle button in the upper right.
Enter the cycle name, start and end dates, and whether to enable planting density.
Click Add.
Once the cycle is created, an + Add Period button will appear at the bottom. At least one period must be configured for the data to be usable in analytics — please continue by adding a period.
Editing a Cycle
Click the edit icon to the right of a cycle to modify its name, dates, or planting density setting.
When shortening a cycle's date range, you must first shorten or delete the period dates within it before adjusting the cycle dates. A cycle's date range cannot be made shorter than its periods.
Deleting a Cycle
Deleting a cycle does not delete previously recorded harvest or packing data — it is preserved. However, filtering and viewing data by that cycle will no longer be possible.
Clicking the delete button will display a confirmation pop-up. Enter the admin password to confirm the deletion.
Cycle End Date Notification
An alert will appear starting 7 days before a cycle's end date. If you need to prepare the next cycle, check in advance.
Setup Examples by Farm Operation Type
Staggered harvest farm (year-round harvesting)
If Greenhouse A is transplanted in January, B in March, and C in May to ensure continuous harvesting with no gaps, create one cycle with three separate periods and assign each greenhouse individually. You can view data broken down by greenhouse while also seeing the combined total.
Growing a different crop in some zones
If only Greenhouse D in a tomato farm grows paprika, add paprika as a separate crop under Managed Crops, create a dedicated cycle and period for it, and assign Greenhouse D to that period. Tomato and paprika data will be completely separated.
Cultivation method test (excluded from overall stats)
If you want to test a different growing method without mixing the harvest stats with your main tomato data, create a separate crop such as "Tomato_NutrientSolution×2 Test" and run a dedicated cycle for it. Test data will not affect the main tomato statistics.
Cultivation method test (included in overall stats)
If you want the test zone's data included in the total harvest figures but still viewable separately by zone, add a dedicated period for the test within the existing cycle and assign only the test zone to it. The data will be included in the overall stats, and you can filter by zone to view the test zone on its own..
