Tax Return Options
At the top area of the dashboard, you will see the three available tax preparation modes:
Guided Tax Return – a step-by-step process assisted by our smart system
Smart Tax Return – upload your documents and let the AI prepare your return
Expert Tax Return – book a session with a tax professional
These options help you choose how you want to prepare your tax return based on your preference and complexity level.
If you have already started a tax return:
A progress banner will appear at the top, showing your current status for the tax return you are working on.
It indicates:
how far along you are
which step comes next
any actions still required
pricing details relevant to your chosen mode
This ensures you always know exactly where you left off.
Your Tax Returns List
The central section of the dashboard displays all your tax returns in a table format, including:
Canton
Name
Tax year
Type (Guided / Smart / Expert)
Opened date
Last edited
Status
You can filter the list by:
Name
Canton
Status
Year
Type
Each tax return includes a menu for continuing, editing, or managing the draft.
Tax Calendar
The right side of the dashboard shows the Tax Calendar, including:
Key deadlines
Canton-specific timelines
Extended filing periods
Helpful reminders for your selected canton
You can switch between different years or cantons using the dropdown menus.
If a deadline period is active, it appears highlighted in green.
Tax Advice Section
At the bottom of the dashboard, you will find general tax advice articles created by our experts. These are not tied to any specific tax return - they are meant to help you improve your financial and tax knowledge.
