In your course, you’ll notice three icons on the bottom right of each piece of content (like text, videos, or images).

These icons let you:

  • Notes: Make private notes just for yourself.

  • Discuss: Add a comment about the content that others can see.

  • Report: Let your facilitator know if there’s something wrong with the content.

Adding private notes

Notes can be really helpful for your study. You might:

  • Add your reflections or thoughts.

  • Re-write something in your own words.

  • Add a note to come back to later.

  • Tag something as related to an assessment.

All your notes for the course are collected together under Notes in the left menu.

Discussing content

Social notes let you discuss content right where it appears.

If the Discuss icon has a green dot with a number next to it, it means there are already comments to check out. Join the conversation!

Reporting content

If you notice an error, inaccuracy, or inappropriate content, use the Report icon (flag) to let your facilitator know.
